GURU – definition
He or she who removes darkness….
Beyond name, beyond form, beyond quality, limitations, boundaries or dualities.
Heavy- a heavyweight character.
Having a have a Firm relationship with the earth element.
A Guru is someone who wants you to become aligned with the realty that is the ultimate reality. Helping us to be grounded while moving in the direction of the spirit. To remain balanced, stable and a reliable human being- They transform their disciples into being their own Guru…The Embodiment of the supreme reality.

There are always discipline guru’s based in subjects you are studying or a family guru, but don’t confuse these with a Sad-Guru, a Guru relating to you in Truth. Assisting you to connect to Sat Chit Ananda the supreme reality and someone who is also connected to the supreme reality.
A Not Sad Guru , can be imposing themselves between you and the supreme knowledge, It is said that a greedy guru and a false student are dangling their feel in the pit of hell.
Mostly the reason for this is Money- A Guru was never interested in money per-se. After 12 years of service to the Guru, once you were trained and the 10,000 hours required was met, then you would be asked for Guru Dakshana, an appropriate recompense for the teachings they gave you against the work you have given.

Now with commercialisation, the so called guru is more interested in how much money the disciple has and how much the disciple is willing to share with them.
So if you have a guru that is greedy, a guru that is focussing on what money he can extract from a student, the ultimate result, unfortunately, is likely not to be very good, because of the fact that the guru is coming from a place of UN-Truth to begin with.
Make sure there is not a trade of money for knowledge with your Guru ! Because you will mostly only become a person that wishes to attract money and money becomes your only reality.

It has been said in the texts, while its a blessing to have a guru its a greater blessing to have a good disciple.
Do not be concerned about not having an incarnate Guru, ultimately it’s not good to be shopping for a Guru, the Guru comes to you when you are ready. You have to prepare yourself fully for the Guru to come your way. Set up a good pattern of behaviour that can align yourself to the Guru. Like Ayurvedic practices, wake early, meditate, breathe, eat enough to sustain yourself etc… Focus everything you do to the Guru, as if they exist. Develop an intimate relationship to the Guru, its not a matter of IF you will meet your Guru, just a matter of When !

Don’t assume that if someone teaches you something they are your guru. Anyone can speak with knowledge, but ask if they only drive your focus to the divine reality and if they are a fit vehicle to take you to meet this reality.
Ask yourself “When I sit in the presence on this person does my mind turn towards the direction of the supreme reality or does it move to something else like money or an attractive person etc… A real heavyweight Guru will effect you, their aura will effect you.
Being able to identify what is real or not real is very important, we must focus on what is really real, fake news permeates everywhere. We should evaluate all teachers in this particular way, all guides and philosophers.
If you are greedy for knowledge, greedy for spiritual development or greedy for approval then you are going to attract a similar kind of teacher unto yourself. You need to purify yourself and become a worthy disciple so you attract the right Guru.
And never call someone your guru when clearly you are not their disciple. This has karmic ramifications for you and the person involved, it also shows your level of spiritual maturity. Your teachers are you guru’s but in the small g as opposed to the big G.

When two minds come together a Mela occurs, a festival of the minds, when your inner most consciousness meets another, then you can become each others Guru.
Have the right alignment with both life and death, keep going in the same direction, whats important is to continue and move forward and focus on your ultimate goal of the self loving itself. You as your own GURU.

May the Guru bless us in every possible way !
OM Guru Om Guru Om Guru !
